Has anyone heard of the number "Phi", and does it have religious implications?

Question:
Like evidence of a creator, or higher power? Many call Phi (1.618033988749895...) "God's number" aka the Golden ratio, because of it's appearance in so many things in us and the world around us (Plants, human body, heartbeat, DNA, music, stock market, solar system, etc). I can't quite wrap my head around all this and I would appreciate any insight you may have in this matter. What are the odds of all of this and what do you think it all means? Why does Phi keep showing up everywhere?

Here is a site about Phi, if you need to learn a little about it first...the concept boggles my mind.

Answer:
Maybe, that there is a cosmic balance? And that all the knowledge that man has, however vast, he will never be able to comprehend his existence in the universe.
