Actually, yes--though that much concentration might damage the panel.
But there are experimental systems that use what are called "concentrators. Essentially these are mirrors that reflect extra light onto the solar panel. If the solar panel has an efficienc of, say, 20% (a fairly good level) it willl still convert 20% of the light into electricity--so if you use concentrators to double the amount of sunlight you get twice the power.
There's a good bit of interest in this because if it can be made practicle, it means a big cost advantage--a mirror can be a lot cheaperthan more solar panels.
overheat. how about underwater somewhat. it does work on cloudy days or early or late. not noon.
I think you would and I think that is the principle of the laser also, only using diamonds instead. What happens if you use many of these devices? Would that amplification of the sun's rays cause a gradual attraction to the sun?
What is your pannel made of? If its flammable I would'nt tryit...
