Why the moon is not a planet of the solar system?

Question:

Answer:
bcoz it is a satellite of the earth
Planets have their own classification but it has to revolve around the sun to be part of the solar system. Hence the asteroid belt is considered part of the system but all moons are instead associated with the planet they revolve around, since the sun doesn't affect their orbits as much as the parent planet.
Because, it is too small, it is also a captive of the earth,
it does not orbit the sun, there are other reasoning's. even Pluto, today would not be considered a planet.
it orbits the earth. planets orbit the sun.
planets are the ones that revolve around sun

and moon revolves round the earth
By definition, planets orbit stars, and moons orbit planets or other moons.
