The next total solar eclipse will occur on August 1, 2008.
The next total eclipse of the Moon will occur on the night of 2007 March 03/04. The event will be visible from parts of North and South America as well as Europe, Africa, and Asia
I dunno.ask a scientist. anyway,its bad for your eyes to look at a solar/lunner eclipse.

22 jul 2009 visible from-S Asia, C Pacific
11 jul 2010 visible from-S Pacific
A lunar eclipse is okay to look at. Because the moon doesn't generate its own light or radiation, and merely reflects the sun's light, it's okay. But even solar eclipses are acceptable to look at, if you take precautions. Use dark glasses or use a lens to project the image onto a white card. It's only dangerous if you look directly at it (but you shouldn't look directly at the sun anyway)
