How can i use solar panels for energy in the home?

Question:

Answer:
You can use solar collectors to heat water. You can use photovoltaic panels to generate electricity. Systems are widely available now to generate power at household voltage and frequency, and to feed excess power back into the grid. Government tax credits and other incentives reduce the cost. The initial cost is substantial, though.
Well you can use it for many thing, the best one I came up with might be using solar panels on a stove to heat up your meals ot to produce energy.
Solar panels convert the sun's rays to electrical energy. If you calculate your home's daily electrical usage (in kilowatts), you can install enough panels to generate this amount of energy. This works best if you live in a tropical or near-tropical environment. Also, I would add 20-50% in case of overcast or rainy days, increased usage, etc. The panels are best installed facing south so that they can benefit from the sun's rays most of the day as the sun passes east to west (if you live in the northern hemisphere).
