Why does the sun emit the solar wind?

Question:
I have always wondered . Also-what is the solar wind made of exactly?

Answer:
Charged particles with enough energy to escape the gravitational pull of a star streak out into space. These particles start thermal acceleration on things and start their movement, but this concept is not fully understood, something else is present to accelerate an object by solar wind.
Why this occurs in not understood, how and what is easily googled. Some think it may be a balancing act for the sun, a way to release it's extra energy and keep it on a even keel.
solar wind as I understand it is everything radiating out from the nuclear fusion reaction going on in and on the sun. light is a particle as well as a wave and it has weight quite a bit due to its speed . Gilbert company sells a very neat (light bulb like in shape ) item that by intercepting light causes motion.
As to why, the reaction is exothermic to say the least, and so emits energy. Every type of energy we know of I believe is emitted. Emitted energy ,not being directed or intercepted radiates out. Viola solar wind for you, me ,earth, the solar system,& the univerce as our sun announces it is.
