Solar energy water heater how it works?
Question:
Answer:
Solar heaters consist of a 1) thermal heat collector and an 2) Insulated tank (to retain hot water).
The basic principle is extremely simple. Sunlight falls on the heat collector which contains copper tubings thru which water flows. The water in tubes gets heated and goes into the tank as hot water, while cold water from inlet gets into the collector.
The process continues when sunlight falls and heats up the collector.
At night hot water stays hot in insulated tank.
This is the cheapest and easiest way to get hot water, and the efficiency is more than 70%.
The sun heats up the water
Most designs use the greenhouse effect which turns UV radiation from the sun into infrared radiation. The heat from the infrared radiation is transfered to the water by passing the water through a winding arrangement of black-colored metal tubes that circulate the water and absorb heat.
like the radiator of a car ,the water runs trough tubes that are heated by the sun
warm water rises in to a tank and new warm water is added
one can make a cheap simple water heater by laying a black coiled hose pie on the roof which feeds in to a tank ,this water gets so hot you have to add cold water to have a shower
a black plastic water tank also heats the water if it stands in the sun .

It’s a fabulous site.
in solar water heaters, huge reflectors are used to reflect sunlight on black painted water pipes.thse pipes are arranged in a box which is just like the solar cooker having a double glass sheet cover.the infrared rays present in the sunlight are absorbed by black painted pipes.the heated water is then supplied to th buildings by pipes.the arrangement of solar cooker can also be utilised to produce steam for generating electricity
It's very easy.
The Solar Water Heater System use the collecter--usually is with vacuum glass pipes---to collect the solar energy. And then transmit those heat enerfy to heat cold water to hot.
You could get the basic knowledge from our website--- www.ateliving.com. You could find some different collectors and systems.
