How to connect 2 solar panels in series?

Question:

Answer:
in just the same way that you would connect two batteries together.

Assume the following
Red and Brown are the same colour
Blue and black are the same colour

each should have a red and a black wire.
conect the black of one of them to the red of the other.
you still have one red and one black.
If you measure across these now you have double the voltage of whatever they are rated at.
so if they are 12volt panels giving 1/2 amp each you now have an output of 24volts and still 1/2amp rating.
if you wanted to keep it at 12volts but make it run for longer, then connect the reds together and the blacks tgether.
this would give 12volts but a rating of 1 amp
This is called parallel connection
