If i took out the little solar pannel on a calculator...?
Question:
What would the voltage be?
(not actually doing it, its 4 science homework)
Answer:
You should learn about solar cell in a supplier's catalog. I think digi-key or McMaster-Carr carry such devices.
Good luck with your search!
There is a little label on the back of the caculator (at least most countries have a legal requirement for one).
It will read something like voltage : x volts. comsumption x milliamps.
You dont have to take to panel off.
You couldn't power much. You couldn't light a bulb or run anything though a speaker. Maybe another calculator or very simple hand held (slow) video game.
Probably 2 or 3 volts, but the current would be really low, so the power would not be much. Less than one watt.
Around 2 volts and few milliwatts.
You can try to power ... another calculator... Just kidding.
