Can we generate electricity from sun using solar technology?
Question:
Answer:
In a word, yes. Many solar installations are in use including thousands of household units. However, for general use there's the problem of what do you do for electricity at night or wet days when there's no sun. Households on solar power use batteries, but the size of batteries that would be needed for general use is not at all practicable. This is why solar electricity for general use is not regarded as practical.
Um... yeah
Don't see why not. I do.
Cheers :-)
certainly, it is a known form of energy form small batteries to source of power for houses
Yes, we can. There are things called "solar panels" or "solar cells" that use the power of the sun to generate electricity. Check out the link.
Yes - using photo voltaic cells.
ya I think so
by using solar panels &cells
yes we can.
r u trying??
definetly, all we need is a proper infrastructure
funding
apolitical approach
proper guidance from well established nations
Yes. Try to contact Ministry of Non Conventional Energy Sources Govt. of India, for Solar Panels at concessional cost for you and the community in your neighbourhood. Enjoy free electricity. Good luck.
Yes, there are solar lit villages in ludhiana (India) and many places it is available. But, only thing, you should have sufficient amount of heat throught the day.
yes of course

i think u got this much early.
ya dude by using photovoltaic cell
s
photo voltaic cells are used. When sunlight falls on these cells ,a small potential difference is created so current electricity flows. Photo voltaic cells are made from silicon , so although solarenergy is green energy the main drawback is the presence of silicon which causes problems of disposal
s of course we can and thats how we use solar energy for lightings in case there s no power supply.
if there s any further development in this field im sure all of us will be using solar energy for electricity. right now this method cant be used for many electical appliances as they consume more power
Yes , we can .
yes......using photovoltaic technology
