What is the solar cover for swimming pool,and how it helps to prevent heat loses during heating swimming pool?

i need to know what is the main way for a pool to lose heat, is it by convection, conduction or radiation, and if we use a soler cover how much it could help, if it is fine to use from where we can get such of these covers, is there any recomended types or companies...

it looses heat b/c it doesn't get enough energy to keep it warm! a solar cover is a good way to create that needed energy as it uses the suns rays and not weighing down your electricity bill.
The solar cover keeps in heat as well as keeps out the colder night air. It reduces water loss through evaporation. And, at times, can keep things from falling into the bottom of the pool that shouldn't, like dogs and keys.
It probably does to things 1. insulation and 2. kinda like a greenhouse thing where it keeps the pool warm by keeping the heat caused by light in.
Solar blankets can make a huge difference. But make sure that there are no small children around, lots of kids die after falling on a solar cover or getting trapped under it.
