How many volts does a solar panel produce?

Question:
this would be for a typical home set up

Answer:
Buy a small one and play with it. Use a volt meter and aim it at the sun and tilt it away to see the changes. To read more about it here is a site to explain more.

It depends. They produce a certain amount of wattage. Voltage can then be controlled through current. For example: with a 175 watt panel, at 5 amperes, you would be producing 35 volts (P = iV, power equals current times voltage, watts equals volts times amps). I believe most panels are around 100 watts (my parents live in a solar house and that is what I remember).
