With so much of power problem in the county like india why use of solar power is not being given perference.?
Question:
Answer:
FROM WHERE THEY WILL GET THE HUGE BILL FOR GIVING THE BENEFIT TO TA TA AND RELIANCE.
no intrest to use solar energy
believe me, everyone would want an alternative source of power, its just that solar power can't be harnessed and utilized with the ease you're talking about. if a common person could use solar power as easily do you think there'd be a problem?
We have made a beginning! In a few places where technology is available, monsoon and winter are dampeners! Very soon, hopefully, we will catch up on solar!
The Government is running in huge losses and doesn't have sufficient amount to use solar power because it is very costly. Also our developing country requires lare amount of energy whiuch obviously requires heavy price. The powercuts are inevitable. This is a type of saving energy. It also has some carelessness of govt. employees. It depends on ur financial status to use solar power. Now a days there are houses which use solar power for energy required to ring the bell to run electronic appliances.
It is expensive and there is insufficient research and development. The industry has no mass production, hence the few solar heater are experimental type and inefficient. But, India is a country with plenty of sun shine and heat. Solar heater can be used efficiently. We have sun shine for more than 8 months in a year. But we lack proper development, and a commercial model, available off the shelf.
The problem is, the end product is manufactured in developed countries and the goverment is participating in the project. For example in Germany, you can install solar power generator for your home which will be hooked with the government grid. The excess power generated will be fed back in to the grid and the goverment will buy this power generated.
It needs big investment to make it sustainable and may be after 15 years it will become affordable.
the solar power-lobby in the government being weak, is unable to compete with the powerful conventional and nuclear sources of power.
