Will humans ever venture outside the solar system?

Question:
Is it feasable from an engineering standpoint? How and why will they do it?

Answer:
yes it is possible if we can ever make a self sustaining system. The products produced by some operation organic or inorganic must be recycled.
i think they wil at least try it,
Not in my lifetime.
Yeah i think they could do it but not for many hundreds of years
if/when we do we will have to build like a portable appartment because even traveling at the speed of light it would still take 1000's of years to make it out
using todays understanding of the laws of physics it is not really feasable as it would take a few million years to reach the nearest star, Alpha Centauri. Just think though that the human race has another 4-5 billion years before the sun expands to a red giant, and the human race has only been around for 250,000 years.
i think they will try and maybe succeed. i wish i could go but I'll be probably dead by then.
