Need help with homebuilt solar system?

Question:
I put together a little solar system for my son's playhouse. I know the wire and battery are too small but wanted ideas on the correct guage hookup wire (to battery) and correct size of battery.

Currently there are 7x15Watt panels for a total of 105Watts(max) which is about 7A current going through about 16' of 16guage wire. It is charging a 18Ah battery and then going to a 300Watt Power inverter.

What would a proper wire guage be and what would a proper sized battery be?

Answer:
you need to check your building codes for the min gauge wire to install in a structure in your yard. most require 12-14 gauge.
For a play house, well, and a power inverter. Use 14 Awg wire will be fine. It has an ampacity of 15 amps. The voltage needs to be slightly higher than the battery voltage so it will recharge the battery. 18 AH appears to be ok.

The battery size depends on how long you want to power to be on when there is no sun.
