Where are some good places to buy non-jewelery silver and gold?

Question:
I am interested in investing in these metals and want to keep them in my home, rather than a bank or somewhere else. Where is a good place to buy these precious metals for the lowest possible cost?

Answer:
Buy them direct from a refiner and you will pay like a 4% premium over spot . Refineries sell in 1 ounce bars all the way up to kilo bars . Google for a list of refiners that sell to the public .
swap meets.

They'll have the same level of brain cell activity... you'll all get along fine.

**Seriously, you make no sense...dumb thing to do with the "little money" you're working with. Seek advice when you save up some money...or get therapy...both should be a "helper". Oh, and the government called, they wanted to personally let you know they aren't tapping your brainwaves anymore!
eBay is a great place to buy gold and silver. Just search for what you want, coins, bars, whatever. Watch to see prices over a period of time and look at completed auctions for the items of interest to you before bidding. The prices are often excellent if you are patient and limit your bid to the maximum you would be happy paying for item.
