What is your investment of choice, and why?

Question:
More specifically, for a longer term investment to increase capital, would you go with stocks, bonds, or real estate? Your own small business? Or a weekend in Vegas?

Or is there another good one that I haven't mentioned?

Answer:
Stocks- growth
Real estate- I live in it
Bonds- diversity
Coins- Not really an investment, but a hobby I enjoy.
Going to Vegas at the end of the month.
A mixture of stocks and bonds.

That, or invest in lots and lots of cheetos.
I'm a big fan of exchange traded funds, especially for beginning investors. Reasons? 1) no sales loads, 2) instant diversification, 3) low management fees, 4) liquid.
I go with 95% stocks, and 5% high-yield bonds. What i DO do, however, is mix my stocks between conservative plays (non-cyclicalts like PG/ real estate like RAS) and riskier investments like small-cap energy (like UPL), etc.
