I want to import a new car on triticket basis, does anyone have an idea how to do that. I heard that there are a couple of ways, one is to import it for 6 months and then store it for 6 month. IS it possiable if I have a company as a foreign investor, and for how long could I keep it and what are the expenses ? I also heard that one can register him self at any university and then to import it, does anyone have an idea of the expenses and the contact persons who can take care of this issue in doing all the docs?

Not sure exactly, but I know the Egyptian government taxes imported autos very highly. A chrysler will go for over 160,000 pounds over there because of the unbelievable taxation. Since the driving there is crazy too, and you're bound to get dents and scratches on your car, it would probably be smart for you to buy a car that isn't so nice for everyday use. (By the way, I'm speaking from an Egyptian perspective).
