Question:
I am trying to find a $50 million investment into a food distribution and processing conglomerate of growing and new companies in Eastern Europe. This is a type of investment that usually requires an asset investment fund; furthermore, it takes specialized knowledge in the industrial consumer mass market food business. I have heard of companies, from WallMart to Tyson Foods, making plans for East European developing markets. However, I cannot find any concentrated source of information on these companies trying to invest into that market. Even most open investor lists require a purchase or paid subscription. However, by logic, there should be pooled lists of investors seeking worthwhile projects. The usual saying in investment circles is that there is plenty of money - what is missing are good investment projects. Here I have the opposite situation - I just need to find those wise investors! Any help on that?
