Typically, a plan will give an assortment of funds which vary by risk (conservative to aggressive), market emphasis (small cap, large, cap, mid-cap), and investment emphasis (value, growth, income). You should read the prospectus for each fund you consider and choose a mix of funds based upon your age and number of years until retirement.
Well, with my 401(k), I had the option to choose the either aggressive, moderate, or conservative investments. It depends on the company you are using.
you have lots of options , i usually go with the one with the high turnover, mutiual funds mostly . costco,t.wrogh investments. I suggest talking with a finical advisor before making any big decision .
