What is the best way to invest in gold?

Question:

Answer:
Go to ishares.com and have a look at an ETF known as The COMEX Gold Trust, ticker IAU. You buy it on the open market, like a stock, but it is constructed like a mutual fund, invested in ounces of gold and gold futures that are held in a trust. You own shares of the trust, not gold outright, and thus you don't have any of the hassles of storing, or insuring, the metals. The annual expense ratio for all of this is only 0.40%, plus whatever trading costs you incur thru your broker. If you use a discount broker, they can be nominal, depending on the dollar value of your buy-in.

My buddy told me awhile back when I was interested in investing in commodities, www.e-gold.com You should always research any company you invest with. I never researched it because my investment interest changed ;) Good luck!
Try investing in Monex, newport beach, ca.
In invest matter..gold are really not your best option...in the world of precious materials, diamonds are the best option, why...cause they do´nt never down their price, diamond prices are always up, never fall, you need to choice the better ones and confine in a trust bank box...or in secret place you only know.

Actually, are only 3 oficial companies that sell & produce diamonds, 2 in England and 1 in US, once the stone was cutted and designated by his value you get a category for your stone and buy as stone only, never mopunted on a ring or something, only the stone.

Only a genuine diamond have laser grabed in his interior.

If you need to invest in gold, you need to buy and protect gold in the more pure form, dust or in gold onzes.
It depends on a few things, like the risk you are willing to take and the liquidity you require.

- Coins are out, there is often a premium with respect to the value of the gold it contains.
- A gold ETF. Liquid as a stock, levier 1. But currency risk if you don't life in the US.
- Gold Mines: Levier higher than one. Currency risk and foreign market risk if it's a foreign company.
- Options and future: any levier you like.

I use ETFs and Gold Mines stocks myself.
