What is a better investment a MPA or a MBA.?

Question:
I have a BBA in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin. I am considering returning to school, while continuing to work full-time, to receieve my Masters. My problem is that I do not know whether I should receive an MBA or a MPA. Any suggestions and advice? My choices (at a local university SFA) are the following . . .

1. Masters in Public Accountancy
2. MBA - General Business
3. MBA - Management

I've also considered going to a university that offers more concentrations, i.e. Finance.

Answer:
I believe that the MBA is the route to go. An MPA would not be as valuable, I feel, as the MBA will broaden your career, because it will give you more in depth looks in to other areas than just accounting. You could also get a CPA instead of the MPA. Good luck.
When you compared an MPA with an MBA, I was thinking about a Masters in Public Administration vs. a Masters in Business Administration. If you are interested in working for the government, the MPA is probably more worthwhile. If you want to work in the private sector, the MBA is probably better.

Are you more interested in the management side, or number crunching accounting side? If you prefer the accounting, the Public Accountancy is probably better. If you prefer the management, MBA.
mba gives you more options
