Post graduation or family business?

Question:
I find myself at the crossroads,in split minds, after completing graduation-dentistry.Whether to pursue higher studies wen competitive exams are just a gamble or join family business.Posty-Grad imminently means another 3-4 years of studies, away from my city. Even though my parents have given me freedom to decide, they subtly want me to start doing smthing.
Going in for post graduation means i'll be 29 by the time i start earning or start looking for a decent job but it does open up avenues of teaching in college and mainly a job security.
Its difficult for a graduate to get a job in a dental college.Getting a PG seat through merit is fairly difficult &usually the trend is to pay for a seat in the college of one's choice.
Otherways,i start orienting towards some practical training in my field, and side by side start learning basics of running family busines-Afterall everything has one common end..earn one's livelihood..Is it time
Should paying to get a seat be considered investment

Answer:
If you like dentistry and have aptitude for it, you should pursue the postgraduate work.
Go for the education. It's something that can never be taken away from you. As you get older it will get harder and harder to go back to school. My suggestion is to do it now while you can.
