Moving Country - alone?

You don't say where you are moving from or what city in the US that you are moving to.
Some thoughts which may help.
My wife and I moved from Scotland to Canada in 1969.
My son moved from Canada to London England 4 years ago.
So we have some experience with changing countries.
I'm excited for you! You will meet some great new friends. There are good people everywhere in the world. Its just the politicians who can't get along.
WE moved to Canada and have had very nice successfull careers. Our son has reverse immigrated and is doing extremely well in England, great job, met a terrific English gal.
Relax, enjoy, meet good people..you will never look back.
I think you should wait a few years. You just entered "the real world", and moving a country is a giant step. First maybe you should considering living independently in a familiar territory. Even a person who's been an independent adult for many years will find it scary and hard to move to a new country. Also, it's a long process to move. You have to take of many different things, pack a lot of belongings, and spend a lot of time and money into making this big decision.
If you really believe that it's what you want, then go ahead - but do so cautiously.
