Is it recommended to do MBA after doing M.Tech, if one is interested in operations?

Yes, there is a value of M.Tech simply because you have gained lots of knowledge which may be useful at any stage of your career.
There are lots of tools covered in operation management which makes your planning,scheduling,organising... and decision making faster and easier.
Only thing is that you dont go with the trend,you should have interest in it.
I have done my operation mgt. after doing 10 years of job(I have done my B.E. from REC) and experimented all mgt. funda to all levels and got the succeess.

No way , it is better to do MBA after Btech. , in india there is not much value for an mtech course , and mtech will not help u in mba in any way.
Yes it is recommended to do M.B.A. after M.Tech. .A M.B.A. degree from I.I.M.s will provide you with a high salary.Moreover it will enhance your knowledge.
