Why an MBA degree is important for a Manager?
Question:
Well, first off, it depends how long you have been a manager. If you just graduated from college, then you are no manager. Being a manager takes about 5-10 years of professional working experience. If you are at that level and you know exactly what you are talking about...the reason why you get an MBA is because it just looks good. To be honest, thats how I see it.
But it depends who you work for, what company, who is paying your check every week. It all depends...if you don't want to do it...then you should think about another career if your colleagues all have MBAs and you don't want to bite the bullet.
MBA is important if you really want to do something in the business world. some (many actually) companies especially big companies not require it as part of your experience. so if you want to be a manager (depending on what kind and for whom) you probably will be required to have your MBA and the time under your belt. It would be a good idea to start to try and get work experience through work or a internship at a small or bigger company to get your feet wet a little. any and all experience helps. make sure it is really what you want.
