Question:
I had been attending Temple University in hopes of pursuing a career in education, only to discover that I really did not like the actual teaching methods courses. Therefore, I will not graduate with my dual certification as originally planned, I will only have a Bachelor's in Education and I decided to work towards this degree with a focus on English as my Minor. I feel so overwhelmed now wondering what kind of positions I will be qualified for when I graduate. My GPA is a 3.9 as it stands right now, and I have two semesters left before I graduate. Did anyone else have this problem and what kinds of jobs did you look for after graduation?
You could teach overseas. This would be more of an experience than for money, as they don't pay much. I wish I did that as soon as I graduated, because I am thinking of doing it now, and I am 2 years out of school; and already ahve an established career.
You could go for a masters degree...or go into the business sector.
