Is an MBA a good degree to possess?

Question:
I am about to embark upon a part time MBA in October. (24 Female). My employer is willing to pay 50% of the fees, which leave a total of £3,500 for me to pay.

Is this good?

Answer:
MBA is a great thing to have, but one MBA is not the same as another. Check that you are getting a recognised MBA from a good provider.

If you can afford £3.4K, take the offer - you will get more back in the long run. Make sure you can afford the time commitment too!

Good luck!
is it a well-known centre? then yes, that's a damn good deal. Is it an unknown one? then it's not so great but probably still good.
Its a goooood degree
Although i don't know what an MBA has to do with relationships...i can tell you that an MBA is a very good degree that opens up a lot of job opportunities to you that were not there if you hold only a bachelor's...i am planning to do mine soon cause a lot of emplyers ask for an MBA...plus, it puts you in a higher salary category...

In short...it is demanded by empoyers and you get paid more...
MBAs are worth having because you can command an excellent salary after graduating. Somebody once told me that they do go out of date after a while, so it's worth acting fast if you wish to capitalise on it and read your employers' small print - if they sponsor you for expensive training, they'll try and keep you contractually for a further 2 years.
The price looks good, my company paid for me to get my MBA after I got in at the London Business School, and I had to pay 50% which was extortionate and way more than £3.5k.

I haven't looked back, I wouldn't be where I am today without mine, most top companies won't even consider you for management roles without one. Since getting mine, my career has rocketed!

It is bloody hard work and you won't have a minute to call your ow, when you're not working you will be studying, no social life for a while! So you will need to be really committed.

Go for it... and good luck!
Any achievement is always an asset no matter how big or small. Someone sees higher abilities in you. Not to many people are left in the world that takes the time to really look at someone else's potential and goes out of their way to invest in those abilities. That is a high compliment. If that does not inspire you, nothing will. I work everyday trying to be noticed with my potentials. If you only knew how hard it is to try and force your way beneath that magnifying glass to find that one person that will invest in you. I sincerely hope you do not throw this away!
