Are Online MBA degrees credible?
Question:
Answer:
some are but totally online MBA degree are mostly not credible as while most quality schools do offer online classes they still require a few class in house but those classes can often be done at night or on Saturday
I do not take online class at all my self as i getting my degree In international business as I fee the exposure to the foreign students is much better in class then online could ever be.
To a degree.
Some are credible but most are scams. Employers would not be able to tell the difference if you get a degree from a reputable institution. Most colleges offer stuff online anyway.
Whatever the degree, wherever it originates, employers will look for candidates-for-jobs who have attractively-distinctive personal qualities, have potential ability (perhaps dependant on expertise in the degree subject areas) within the employer's line of business and who did not have much difficulty attaining the degree. There always are other criteria maybe, lurking in the interviewer's sub-conscious, like the candidate's accent, personal hygiene, social status, political persuasion even. No reason why an online - or a postal - MBA shouldn't be fully credible, in real life. However, some interviewers are unfit for their position, stupid and ignorant, sadly. It's an imperfect world! Direct contact with a University is recommended, if you have the choice.
It depends on the school. Check out good schools such as Central Michigan University College of Extended Learning; American Intercontinental University and Troy State University. I actually received my degree from Central Michigan; and it's a very credible university... the main campus is located in Michigan and is quite large. Good luck!
