Hi, My dear... first U have to apply for a job, then U will come to know how difficult it is nowadays.Happy Job Hunting.. Cheers.
with an MBA you will typically get paid $40 - 55K your first job out of colege
As said before there are a lot of different factors into the salary range for an MBA in Finance or Accounting:
Region- Salaries will differ by region with the coastal regions having slightly higher salaries (such as NYC, LA, etc...) and more central regions offering lower. I would take a look at a salary calculator at salary.com or monster.com to get a better idea,
School Choice- depending on what school you go to, this may affect it. Typically MBA programs have alumni networks that help you receive job offers, so the better the network and school, the better the jobs and pay
Choice of Career Path- getting a MBA is just like getting a general business degree. You could go into anything from public accounting to investment banking to nonprofit management all of which have highly differing salaries
Overall, you're talking a huge range of salaries here (probably from low 30-75k and up) depending on these factors.
The job market for MBAs has strengthened a bit recently. I would suggest going to a couple of sites researching the GMAT (Graduate Management Admisisons Test) to learn more about the test and programs. I would say that MBAs won't have TOO much trouble finding jobs.
Alternatively, there are nursing programs that are focused on getting a BSN after already having another bachelor's. Generally speaking, new nurses start out at around $20/hour...but this again varies by region, hospital type and specialty. So you're talking 35-50k there. School choice doesn't really factor into the equation too much.
Also, I've included some sources below that would help you research career paths.
The salary/remuneration for a particular job is the market value for a particular profession and designation at the city/town where the office is located. Job postings at websites like Monster, Yahoo HotJobs and Careerbuilder carry information about salaries. The Govt Dept of Labor, (www.bls.gov) Bureau of statistics has information about median salaries for different professions and details of additional compensation offered. Other online resources are salary.com and payscale. Your salary will also depend on your educational qualification and how you handle your career.
