Best school for a degree combination in Business, Economics/Finance, & Environmental Studies?
Question:
Currently an undergrad, but I'm a born entrepreneur (currently own a few small businesses) but my goal is to start a "Green Biz" in renewable energy/sustainablity after I'm all done, invest money like an Investment Banker, and be a successful business owner.
Would also like to get an MBA after my undergrad, so with that said, is an Business degree needed as an undergrad?
Thanks!
Answer:
Hello,
The distinction between universities these days is extermely fine, mostly surrounding rankings on research ability. If you want to know which is the best for economics, make a few phone calls to your state universities and ask about ranking and what advantages they have. The only time an employer will care about university attendance is if someone from oxford is competing with someone from a poor university in africa ;).
If you want to choose a course that covers all the areas that you have written, try economics. You can specialise in either areas using something called econometrics. With this under your wing, the world is yours. Good luck
