To those with a degree in economics, what's the average salary can I expect out of college?

I graduated with an Econ degree, now I'm kicking myself for not graduating with a Finance or accounting degree
Not a lot of demand for economists with just BA degrees. A master's in finacne will help, and an MBA will likely maximize your earning power. However, that being said, I would look at what you WANT to do rather than just how much it pays. I have seen a lot of folks acquire degrees just to chase the dollar only to be severely disillusioned when they actually enter teh workforce and it is a grind. It seems like $100,000/year would motivate you to put up with a lot, and this may be true in the short-term, but long-term you will end up quitting, burning out, or losing your soul.
The salary/remuneration for a particular job is the market value for a particular profession and designation at the city/town where the office is located.
