Question:
if it is 48 units and you plan on becoming a full time student. ( Quarterly or by semester)?? I'm considering pursuing a dual master degree in nutrition science and exercise science at San Diego State. I think their school year runs by semester but Im not sure. Any info would be greatly appreciated!
Answer:
I am assuming you have your undergraduate degree. Usually graduate students can take up to four classes. I am assuming this is a quarter system based on 48 unit. If the courses are 4 units each, that would be 12 classes. If you take 12 units each quarter (Fall, Spring, Winter, Summer) - 12 units - 3 four unit classes, you could be finished in a year. If you really want to push yourself and take 16 units a quarter you could finish earlier but I would not recommend it. Twelve units of graduate work is already rather daunting.
