Degree program: Nursing Informatics or Healthcare Informatics?

Question:
I am 2nd career Registered Nurse working on a post surgery (CABG) cardiac floor. I have not been a nurse very long (1 year) and I'm pretty sure I want to leave clinical nursing after 2 - 3 years experience. My prior career was a generalist in the IT field, e.g. some networking, some web management, some project management, technical support, etc. I am considering a graduate degree in either Nursing Informatics, which is an MSN program, or Healthcare Informatics, which is an MBA program. Anybody in Nursing or healthcare IT have any recommendations which degree to pursue? And what is the difference between nursing informatics and healthcare informatics? Thanks!

Answer:
With your backgrounf could you be a teacher?
I would spend some time in the library and look over careers and descriptions, my general impression is Nursing Inform is more speacized than a general Heathcare Inform, the more specialized is always better because it is harder to replace you and the pay is usually better because of that. Always be a specialist in whatever field your in.
