Unaccredited degree holder that wants to obtain Masters ... Can anyone help?

Question:
I have a Bachelors degree and recently applied to a university for their MBA program. My application was denied because the school I went to was not accredited. I very much would like to continue my education and want to attend graduate school. Has anyone experienced this?

Could you recommend a school that will accept my degree?

Answer:
sorry there really is not a school. Did you know your school was not accredited when you went there? Or is it that they lost there accreditation after you graduated if that is the case you can appeal if not you are screwed
Probably another unaccredited university would accept it, but there are also accredited universities with MBA programs that are forgiving of past educational "faults", for lack of a better term. The programs are good, they are accredited, you'll get a real education there, but they are in business to help people whose undergraduate results were not what they could have been.

Here are two examples:

Simmons College, in Boston - but it's a woman-only school.
Southern New Hampshire University

I feel especially strongly that if your undergrad was from an unaccredited school, your MBA must be from an accredited school. This will help you in the eyes of employers. So try Simmons or Southern NH University.

Also, if Franklin Pierce in NH offers an MBA program, they are the type of school that might be able to help you.

Good luck.
