Answer:
These are a few separate questions, so I'll answer them as such.
First, an MBA is (generally) a generalist degree. While many MBA programs allow one to specialize in a certain area (finance, marketing, etc), IMO it should be approached from the perspective of gaining an understanding of the general business decision-making process. With extremely rare exceptions, a well-functioning business is run by people who understand how all the pieces come together. What this means for you is that since you already have background training in HRM, you might want to consider pursuing a more general MBA, if that's the degree path you seek.
Second, I question whether doing an MBA is right for you (or anyone else). This isn't because an MBA is a 'bad' degree - after all, one of my degrees is an MBA - but rather that the pursuit of *any* degree is an investment and you should know beforehand what value you plan on deriving from this investment. This actually gets me to another point: if you just graduated with a degree in hotel mgmt, IMO you need to get some experience under your belt before considering what other degrees to pursue, especially an MBA. As I meant to imply above, most MBA programs will allow you many options with regard to electives and you should have a clear idea what you plan on doing with the degree before making that kind of investment of time and money.
Finally, with regard to your last question about salary: It depends. If it's true that you have no experience in a work environment (unclear from your question) I don't believe an MBA will garner significantly higher wages than what you will receive without one today. Companies will pay you for what skills and experience you bring to the table. While an MBA might enhance your skills somewhat, a lack of experience will not allow you to truly capitalize on the innate value an MBA can provide to a company and therefore, to yourself.
In summary, I'd suggest getting some experience before pursuing an MBA. You'll be able to focus your efforts more and derive more value from the education later. I know the prospect of a high salary after getting an MBA seems great, but please understand that you will likely not see a big boost right away and you will also likely not get as much out of the experience now.
Good luck!
