How can I find out if a crooked financial advisor was ever taken to court.?

Question:

Answer:
You could try the Financial Services Authority (FSA) - they have a website. Unfortunately they don't have a clue from my experience but in theory they are meant to.
I would be very careful. There are lots of people who are financial advisors these days.
Anyone can do it really.

I would only go with someone reputable and recommended by a friend or family member that has a long term business relationship with the person.

Be very leery of financial advisors. They are extremely cheesy.
go to jail and ask for one
have you tried running their name through a search engine?
GO 2 THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU INTERNET OR CALL THEM AND THEY WILL TELL YOU ANY AND ALL COMPLAINTS THEY HAVE RECEIVED ON HIM
