What is a financial advisor.?

Question:

Answer:
They can be located in banks or credit unions, or have their own offices, but basically, you pay them to tell you where to invest or spend your "discretionary" money. I don't have either, not the advisor or the extra money. Good luck!
Someone who will tell you how to spend your money.
somebody who specializes in helping people not go broke

Someone is going to hate me for this comment!

A Financial Advisor is someone you pay money to so that they can advise you how to invest your money in places where they make more money (commissions) than you do!
Someone who advises you about your finances.
Preferably a person with licences in investments, insurance and mutual funds.
someone who advises you on what to do about your money, stocks, bonds, etc...
a trained business professional, usually a stock broker who can assist you in planning for your finanical future. They offer sound advice and how to prepare your resources to ensure you can exist once you retire.
