AMERIPRISE? Good or bad company to start as a financial advisor?

Question:
I have an offer, and don't know what to do.

Thank you.

Answer:
You could do worse...you could do better.

I don't like the fact that they do not "pay" for your licensing and registrations (do any of the major brokerage houses?).

You'll be cold calling (sorta) trying to sell a bunch of proprietary financial products (mainly insurance and annuities).
They will take anyone. My friend works for them and loves it though.
I think it's a good place to start... get you foot in the door. It's a reputable name in the industry.
can't be that bad
Have you contacted your local Primerica Representitive? Contact them first and see how the two compare and decide for yourself.
