Financial Advisor.?

Question:
Financial Advising companies appear to be popping up on every street corner. How do you know which ones are the good ones? Anybody have experiences with Edward Jones? How about franchising an Edward Jones' office.lucrative?

Answer:
I started my investing with Edward Jones. They are lucrative and they have strict requirements before even considering someone for employment. I have long since moved onto my own (and have done very well at it too) for first timers go ahead and pay the fees to invest in the long run its worth it.

You can run the record of any broker or any firm. If they have any judgments against them, you can see them. But it doesn't mean they're any good.

You can ask for a track record. It will show you their buys and sells.
I would say that Edward Jones is a good one, but i'd be worried about the people you encounter. So my advice would be to go to a nonprofit agency and ask them who they recommend, or if you go straight to an agency ask to speak to a manager and ask them who they would refer, be confident!
I work in the industry, out of number of firms I've worked for, I'd go with Raymond James
Yes, edward jones is very good, and opening one of their offices would be profitable, but very hard. You would need a ton of experience and money and knowledge.
