What is the average price of a financial advisor?
Question:
Answer:
I think it depends on your finances.
Trump VS a bum.
It will vary.
It depends what you want them to do. To work up ideas for you to invest in about $250.00 To buy or sell shares in a stock or mutual fund, anywhere from $6 to $75.00 depending on where you go. (Example Ameritrade $6 online or Oppenheimer analyst $75.00)
There really isn't an 'average price' for a financial adviser. Some adviser don't charge fees (because they are paid a commission from the companies whose products they sell), some who charge you for the 'financial plan' they create for your, while others may charge based on the amount of assets they are investing for you.
What type of services do you need? Before you choose anyone to anyone may I suggest that you go to the NASD website. The NASD is the National Association of Securities Dealers -- regulatory body for brokers and registered representatives. The site has a great section on investor information. You can do a background check before you hire a broker, learn about mutual fund expenses as well as 529 college plans. All in one place.
Another great learning site is www.cnnmoney.com. They have an education site that is kinda like 101 investing basics. Check out the personal finance tab.
After you check out both sites, you'll find that this investing stuff really isn't rocket science and that you can do most/if not all of it yourself.
Good luck
