Are there any jobs similar to Financial advisor without having to cold call?
Question:
Answer:
I work as a banker for a large financial institution and all I do is work with incoming clients and internet leads, no "cold calling" but there is still alot of phone selling, but I like it a lot and make a ton of cash doing it.
There are 'research' types of jobs in financial institutions where you work with money and crunch numbers. But the main people you deal with are your co-workers, not outsiders or potential clients.
Most of the time, if you are in sales, you are doing some sort of cold calling (it may not be by phone).
A financial advisor is a trained professional. Many are not insurance salespeople. A certified finanancial planner must take courses and pass an exam to provide services. What is your educational background? You should really start with a bachelor of science degree in business administration and see what you like. That is what my husband did. He found out that he loves accounting (I know, thrilling) and now helps businesses plan their budgets.
