Any attorneys turned financial advisors out there?

Question:
I am contemplating such a switch in my career and am wondering if any attorneys who privately practiced would be kind enough to comment on whether their switch was a good move for them and gave them a better quality of life. Thanks.

Answer:
I was a practicing attorney for about four years. Last fall I quit and got a job as a consultant and couldn't be happier. The practice of law is one of the worst lifestyles I can think of. Too much stress, too many hours, demanding clients and a public who demands you act aggressively and then hates you for it. I would recommend anyone who can, find something else. I did and will never look back. Good luck .
