Can anyone recommend a great financial advisor, who can help me purchase stocks, REITS, etc.?

Question:
I'm a young...beginner investor. I need someone who I can personally talk to...not just online.

Answer:
You have to read, read, read. Look at the mutual funds run by Fidelity, Vanguard, etc. etc. see what they have done in the past. Fid made 34% last year. Do you think you can beat that on your own??
Beginners should realy look at mutual funds with NO LOADS>
for rookies I recommend people like AG Edwards or Edward Jones.
You are getting some good advice. Stick to mutual funds including funds that invest in REITs. Here's a list of REIT funds.
