I bank with bank of america.

Yes, BoFA offers that service, for what its worth... most of the folks working in banks in that capacity are not all that good at the job. I know some of these folks and all of them couldn't make it at the dedicated investment firms like Merrill Lynch.

Bof A probably does offer financial advise, not that they offer stock trades. If not, I go to Fidelity.com. An advisor will sit down with you and map out a financial strategy with you.
