How much does a financial aid advisor make at a community college?

Question:
I got an interview for this position... but people are telling me it's not a good job...what do you think?
sounds like a great job to me if you are qualified, you can always look for another job in the same field while you are there. Financial aide advisor's make great money.
I imagine not a whole lot. Academic support positions generally don't have fantastic pay levels, especially entry level, but are just jobs people take before moving on to something else that's better. Not sure how much of a boost to your resume you would get from this position though -- ask yourself that question before accepting.
