Where can one go, which companies/financial institutions, to begin or start from an entry level on becoming?

Question:
a personal financial advisor? Which companies/banks/institutions a person can go at entry level to start on a career of a personal financial advisor? Who are the best out there to begin such a career with a degree in finance?
I know that our credit union hires people at entry levels and then reimburses them for any schooling they take for a business level degree.

Excuse my ignorance, but I don't know just what qualifies one to be a financial advisor except to take the Series 7 test or similar investment certifications. You need to determine just what the qualification requirements are before you ask a potential employer what they will pay for.

Good job hunting.
