Has anyone been through foreclosure if so tell me how your getting along now?

Question:

Answer:
I personally haven't, but I would recommend avoiding it at all costs. Not only does it affect your credit and ability to purchase a new home, some employers will run a credit check on applicants. If it's between you and someone who hasn't been foreclosed on, which applicant do you think will get the job?
Sure have. I "lost my way" financially a few years ago, thank goodness my property was worth more than I owed, so I did a refi and scince then no problem. I do live in CA which has a looooong time period for forclosures... I think its 120 days. Anyway, it did hurt the credit, but today things are fine and I'm refinancing again to pull out some cash to buy a larger home.
unfortunately I have been and it is awful. This happened about a year ago and now we rent which is bad because we pay a lot and seem to just break even every month. Try to avoid it, but you know life goes on, and eventually it will get better.
