Is there help for families that have experienced foreclosure in Virginia and are basically homeless?

Question:
After going through a foreclosure, it is difficult to get back on your feet, especially when you have a family. Over the past couple of months you have heard so much about the rise of foreclosure, but where is the help for people who are actually facing these issues?
Just the Dept of Social Svcs for emergency help.
It is sad, but the world cannot worry about helping people who didn't pay their bills. This may sound harsh, but I work my *** off every day of every month to make sure this doesn't happen to me. They could have done the same. I am fortunate where I work one job, and make a good years pay, but if I was faced with foreclosure I would get 3,4,5 jobs to make sure my family had a roof over their heads. The same could have been done by these people, instead they sit around blaming everyone else. I know people hit hardships, but that is life. They will have to find a way to climb back up, it will not be easy, but can be done. This country does not need another group of people looking for handouts.
