I receive an email list weekly from one of my local title companies. It covers up to 4 counties. Call your local ones and ask to get on their lists. It's free.
county Court house, hang out listen you will get a feel on how to do research, maybe even try and befriend a county clerk to see if they will help you

Ask around at different banks in your area. The banks are the owners of foreclosure properties so they are the best places to look. A good, proactive realtor should be able to find foreclosures for you. Mine did!
Just ignore those advertisements for access to foreclosure listings. They charge you a fee.
